Climbing? Yes. Belaying? No. "Bouldering" is the keyword. And as luck would have it, the largest outdoor bouldering area in South Tyrol is very close to the paloria! After all, we're not real sports fans for nothing. :-)
What is actually meant by "Boulder Olympus", you are probably asking yourself. We mean 370 boulders in 12 sectors with difficulty levels ranging from 4 to 8a. In short: Everything your bouldering heart beats for! Facing south, so that the climbing day is as long as possible. And located in the middle of the forest, because here, of course, it's all about touching nature - and being touched by it. Oh, and: Only a few minutes' walk from the paloria! "Grave Cave", "Frodo's ass" and "Knödelmann" are the names of three of the boulders, and these names will not only make you smile, but also promise a lot of fun! No matter if you're already a bouldering pro or if you're still in the beginners' shoes: In Algund you'll become the king or queen of the rocks!
